We experienced an issue affecting inbound and outbound email delivery across our SmarterMail platform due to a fault in our external spam filtering system.
During the event, some messages were temporarily queued for later delivery, while others were rejected or bounced back to senders.
Root Cause:
A software error in the spam filtering system prevented normal mail routing. The issue was escalated to the vendor’s development team, who applied a fix that restored mail flow.
Resolution:
The filtering system has been corrected and verified operational. Queued mail has been successfully delivered, and new messages are processing normally.
Current Status:
✅ All services are fully operational.
No further action is required by customers.
