We are performing a scheduled upgrade to our Plesk DNS cluster. This maintenance is part of our ongoing effort to enhance the performance, stability and overall reliability of our global DNS infrastructure. Affected Services: - Affected: DNS record management via Plesk control panels. - Not Affected: DNS resolution (websites/email remain online), Client Area DNS, cPanel, Interworx, and third-party DNS providers. Maintenance Window: - Start: Saturday, 31st January 2026 at 11:30 PM AEST - End: Sunday, 1st February 2026 at 1:30 AM AEST Impact: DNS resolution will continue to function normally during this window; your websites and services will remain reachable. However, please do not make any changes to DNS records through the Plesk interface during this period, as updates may not sync correctly. If you have any questions or concerns, please open a support ticket from your client area and our team will be happy to assist you.

Description

We will perform the upgrade of Smartermail on 23rd January 2026 at 11:00 PM AEST. Description of work: Windows updates and Smartermail update Maintenance Window: Planned Start: Friday, January 23, 2026, 11:00 PM AEST Expected End: Saturday, January 24, 2026, 01:00 AM AEST Impact: During the maintenance window, we will need to reboot the server several times to apply Windows updates. We estimate that the reboot will take 5-10 min and might occur 2-3 times in the first 60 min of the maintenance window. Once the Windows updates are completed, we will run the Smartermail update, and we estimate that emails will be unavailable for 25 minutes to 40 minutes. Expected outage period: Windows updates: 5-10 minutes, 2-3 times Smartermail upgrade: 20-40 minutes If you have any questions, please open a ticket from your client area, and we will be happy to address any concerns you may have.
